I love this picture of the 2 of them! They were having so much fun! They were laughing so loud and it was so sweet to hear them! It is was just so fun to see them just being kids!

We all got our faces painted! It was so much fun! People would be staring at us for a few reasons...1) Because there were so many of us and 2) because of our faces!

BATMAN...

We went to Spruce Meadows today for ATCO family day. We got our faces painted and Max wanted to be Batman! He also wanted everyone else to be Batman! (noone else wanted to that is why I got a little Batman on my face!) He had so much fun with it and took it very seriosely! Infact I had to rewrite his name tag to BATMAN and noone could call him Max anymore because he was Batman! He was so worried all day because he thought that the paint had come off and so I had to take pictures of him every 1/2 hour or so, just so that i could show him that the paint hadn't come off. At the end of the day when I had to wash it off he started crying and crying. I asked him what the matter was and he told me, "but mom, I am not a super hero anymore!" I about cried/laughed!!! He really takes this super hero stuff to heart! I told him that he would always be my super hero! Kailey pretended to fall down the stairs and called for a super hero to come and rescue her...that seemed to help as well! Poor little guy had a whole new identity with his mask on!

Happy Birthday!

Emma had her birthday party this weekend! She had so much fun with her friends! They screamed in delight most of the time! Most of the time for no reason at all! But they are girls and somewhere in some rule book, there is a rule that GIRLS MUST SCREAM!!! Steve and I are very relieved that birthdays only come once a year! Unfortunately, we have 4 children and so they come 4 times a year!

Sweet Little Cousins!

Norah, Max and Naia are the cutest little cousins~EVER!!!! Although Max and Norah are twice as loud as Naia! I think that she is scared of them sometimes! But they LOVE Naia SOOOOOOO much! Both of them have a picture of her that they carry around the house with them! Norah had breakfast this morning with Naia's picture! Norah is a funny kid!

Course 2 is over...

I have been taking classes at Micheal's and I have just finished the second one-I passed! Yeah! It is so much fun and I have made some good friends! We are starting Course 3 next week! We have never had so much cake in our house and I have never gone through so many bags of icicng sugar! I really should have kept a count of how many...I am guessing around25-30!!! That is alot of sugar!!!

Cake faces!!!!

Max and Norah love it when I make cakes! Both of them love to lick the beaters or in Norah's case the plate!! Norah is the funniest because she will hear the mixer going and come running, screaming the whole way, "yummy! Yummy!" I love to hear that!

Busy Weekend...

So this is what I did this weekend! I made cakes! The middle on was actually my first cake that I have sold!! The purple one is for Beeta...it was for her birthday!!! The horse one is for my niece-Anna! The horse one is also one that a friend has ordered!!! This is great fun!

Sad Blistery May Day!!!!

I have spent so much time in my garden that I was so sad when there was a heavy snowfall warning for end of May! I had just planted over a dozen perrenials and the thought of them freezing--well I went out and covered everything with buckets and blankets! The next morning I was out shaking the trees so that they wouldn't snap and break! It has been a few days since the snowfall and my plants made it, we will see about my trees??? I was hoping for apples this year!

Norah...

Norah is potty training and doing quite well at it! It is quite nice to not have to worry about diapers and...but with potty training comes a whole new set of worries or problems! She has been the one that has decided that it was time! She has seen what Max is doing and thought that it was time that she did the same! I do have to say that my favorite moment of her potty training has been when she sits down to go pee and has to push HER penis down!!! She will say, "push, push!!" What a girl!!!!!

Max playing with his friend Erik and with Norah. They lined up the laundry baskets and were playing 'choo-choo trains' Norah just stood and watched the boys play! I don't know that she knew what to think of them plus, Max wasn't paying attention to her and that was really different for her!

Let's go fly a kite...

The girls went and flew kites with their daddy. Now they, including Max and Norah, always want to go and fly kites. They didn't have to go far...we have a the ravine and a huge green space really close to our home.

A Great Moment...

Norah is Potty Training!!!!

Last Monday Norah decided that diapers were no longer for her! She would take her poopy diapers and smear them all over the place! By Wednesday I had enough and just took off the diaper for good! She has been doing quite well...considering that she is potty training herself! She has a bladder of steel and only goes 2 maybe 3 times a day! We just have to work on her wearing her panties and not Max's gonchies and especially covering the right body part! Just kidding! She was being silly and was trying to make everyone laugh-which is what she did!

He has the best smile! It is just huge!! He was just so excited to be at KK's school!

'Dig It' KK's Spring Concert

We all went to Kailey's Spring Concert last night! She was a mummy in the play and did so well! Grandma Dani came up for it and Max wanted to watch it all over again! He really enjoyed it! He clapped louder than anyone there!
