I have spent so much time in my garden that I was so sad when there was a heavy snowfall warning for end of May! I had just planted over a dozen perrenials and the thought of them freezing--well I went out and covered everything with buckets and blankets! The next morning I was out shaking the trees so that they wouldn't snap and break! It has been a few days since the snowfall and my plants made it, we will see about my trees??? I was hoping for apples this year!

I can't believe the snow you guys had!!! That's crazy. Although, I do remember a May (Austin was a baby) and there was sooo much snow, about 3 feet. I guess that's Calgary for ya!! Are your plants ok?
